Indonesian yellow rice served with Chef’s selection of traditional side dishes. These side dishes will be selected based on the freshest ingredients available on the market today. Some examples of side dishes are:
– Urap (wilted vegetable salad dressed with spiced grated coconut topping)
– Tofu or Tempe bacem (braised tofu or tempe in savory dark sauce)
– Perkedel (potato croquette)
– Kering tempe (stir fried soybean with sweet and spicy glaze)
– Pindang egg (hard boiled egg braised in savory herbal broth)

Our chef will select three or four side dishes to accompany the yellow rice. Since these side dishes symbolize nature bounty and represent gratitute for the harvest, it is best to chose which dishes to cook while shopping for the freshest produce at the market.
